THE BOOKS

KEEPING HER ALIVE/Sven Sonnenberg
ISBN-10:0983418241

This book is of general interest. It shows the operation of our medical establishment against the background of a personal story - a medical part and intimate marital interrelations. It also contains guidance to alternative medicine.  You also might be  interested in the subject matter for serious reasons. It is possible, that one of your loved ones is in need of help or you, for yourself, decided to seek knowledge beyond what your doctor told you. It is especially important for those who are unfortunate to be stricken by cancer to have a close family member or a close friend to take up the search for help. Those should study and then try to get the ill spouse or a friend to listen and cooperate in searching for a cure. Alternatively at least, to augment and aid in whatever  the "official" medicine orders, if that is the decision—to follow the beaten path.

A TWO STEP JOURNEY TO HELL/Sven Sonnenberg

ISBN-9780983418238

Sven Sonnenberg, as a child, lived with his family in North−Eastern Poland when WWII broke out in 1939. He was of mixed parentage: his mother’s roots in Germany, his father a Jew. He tells the story of his Jewish-German family. They were dragged across Poland by the Nazis from one place of bizarre events to another: from the ghetto to a death camp - the only possible final destination.

Sven Sonnenberg survived WWII in Poland with remnants of his shattered family. He began a new life in the orphanage under another tyranny – Communism regime.  Overcoming difficult, but sometimes laughable obstacles on his rocky and steep life path, Sven graduated in 1957 from the  Warsaw Polytechnic . Then he worked in the aircraft industry until 1968 when he escaped to the US where he gladly joined Kodak. He lost his long time wife to cancer, and recently married a woman, who some unfriendly people could call a youngster, but whose presence helps Sven to chase away memories of his tragic past.
